The short version: use the notebook honestly, pay for what you use, and remember its numbers are estimates — not medical advice. The long version follows.
Macrojot is a food journal: you describe meals in plain words (or photos, voice memos, or a connected kitchen scale), and it estimates calories and macros, keeps a journal, stats, recipes, plans and shopping lists. The service is provided by TROU.PL Michal Kulesza ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
One person, one account. You're responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your login. You must be at least 16 to use Macrojot.
Everything you write, photograph or record stays yours. You give us only the license needed to run the service: storing your entries, processing them to compute nutrition (including through our AI processors — see the privacy policy), and showing them back to you. We claim nothing else.
Calorie and macro figures are estimates, produced by AI from your description. They can be wrong — check anything that matters, and correct it by hand. Macrojot is not a medical device and gives no medical, dietary or health advice. For decisions about your health, talk to a professional, not a notebook.
Don't abuse the service: no breaking in, scraping, reselling access, flooding the AI with non-food workloads, or uploading anything illegal. We may throttle or suspend accounts that do.
We aim to keep Macrojot up, but it's provided "as is" — maintenance windows and outages happen. Features may evolve; if we ever discontinue the service, you'll get notice and time to export your data.
You can delete your account whenever you like — export first, deletion is final. We can terminate accounts that break these terms, with notice unless the breach makes that impossible.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
These terms are governed by Polish law; consumers keep the protections of their home country. Material changes to these terms are announced in the app before they take effect. Questions: [email protected].
