The short version: your notebook is yours. We collect what the notebook needs to work, nothing more, and you can take all of it with you or delete it whenever you like.
Macrojot is run by TROU.PL Michal Kulesza. We are the data controller for everything described here. For anything privacy-related, write to [email protected] — a person reads it.
Only what the notebook needs:
AI reads a note only when you send one. To do the math, the note (or photo, or voice memo) is processed by OpenAI or Google as our processors under their API terms — which means it is not used to train their models.
Connecting your own AI — Claude or ChatGPT — to the notebook is your call, made in Settings, revocable with one tap. And if you'd rather keep AI out entirely, the journal works fully by hand.
Your entries. Until you delete them, or your account. Deleting the account wipes the notebook.
Server logs. Rotated within about 30 days. They exist to catch abuse and bugs, not to profile you.
Export the whole journal and weight history to CSV anytime, from Settings.
Under GDPR you can, at any time:
See it. Ask what personal data we hold about you.
Correct it. Fix anything inaccurate — most of it you can edit yourself, in the app.
Take it. Export your data in a portable format (CSV, built in).
Erase it. Delete entries, or the whole account with everything in it.
Object. Object to processing, or withdraw a consent you gave.
Complain. Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO).
Everything travels over TLS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. The notebook lives on servers in the European Union, fronted by Cloudflare.
